Beth Tidmarsh ( Beth Draws Buildings )

Beth is originally from Cumbria and loved art when she was younger but ultimately ended up following a more scientific route as a specialist SLT in the NHS. This is something she still does alongside her drawing work. 
 
Her work started mainly with building commissions and has since expanded into small-scale landscapes and her well-loved illustrated greetings cards. Her ‘Shades of Home’ grid drawing is her biggest piece of work to-date. This started as a personal project to reflect her love of the Lakes when she moved back home, but became far more collaborative over time, as people sent in their own suggestions via social media. The completed grid reflects Beth’s love of small details and the place she calls home.
